A proud native and resident of Atlanta, GA, Monique C. Baisden is a multifaceted Servant of God, Storyteller, Author, Advocate, and Change Agent.
After matriculating through the Atlanta Public School System, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, summa cum laude, from Clark Atlanta University in 2002. She later received her Master of Arts degree in Communications and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University in 2010. She possesses almost 20 years
of professional work experience where she has worked at corporate and nonprofit organizations, startup companies, schools, colleges, and consulting companies (including her own) within the Education, Human Resources, Staffing, Career Services, Coaching, Consulting, Music, and Entertainment industries.
As a change agent, Monique knows that she is called to be a solution to those community leaders, decision-makers, policymakers, and government officials to whom she is called. As a freelance consultant, Monique has consulted and worked one-on-one with creatives, entrepreneurs, ministers, CEO's, and non-profit leaders with her own businesses since 2012. She has a God-given ability and gift as a visionary who conceptualizes new ideas, develops strategies to implement those ideas, and then networking and connecting to the appropriate resources, partners, stakeholders, and investors. In 2021, Monique and a business partner co-founded and launched a new solutions-focused consulting agency, Vision 2 Launch, that conceptualizes, researches, and develops innovative and trailblazing solutions for communities (and the organizations that serve the community) in order to take their concepts from vision to launch.
Ever since she was a child, Monique has always possessed many creative gifts and talents, but music has always been her passion. She has always loved to sing, create music, and write songs. God has allowed Monique's singing and songwriting gifts to "make room for her and bring her before great men" (Proverbs 18:16), as she has had numerous opportunities in recent years to use her singing and songwriting gifts to minister to His people through song, on various stages and platforms in both secular and religious settings. In 2020, Monique founded 4 The Kingdom Entertainment (currently named 4 The Kingdom Enterprises) where she serves as Executive Producer, Singer, and Songwriter, and Author. 4 The Kingdom Enterprises consists of a network of purpose-driven creatives, storytellers, and filmmakers that write, direct, and produce short films, plays, documentaries, TV shows, songs, music videos, and live events. 4 The Kingdom Enterprises' latest collaborative project is a global social justice and human rights anthem which Monique wrote entitled “Enough Is Enough”. She co-produced the music for this song, as well as, served as the Executive Producer and Co-Director for the advocacy music video.
Outside of using her creative talents with 4 The Kingdom Entertainment, Monique is a professional writer, blogger, and storyteller who loves to write and writes to inspire, encourage, motivate, transform lives, and give hope. She is currently in the process of writing multiple faith-based fiction and nonfiction books. Previously, she has coached aspiring authors who were seeking to develop, write, and self-publish their first books. In terms of professional writing, she is a published writer who has previously written for FreddyO.com, Type II Nation, Bold Favor Magazine, and served as a Staff Writer and Field Writer for TeamJesusMag.com. Her professional writing skills also extends to writing content for blogs, websites, press releases, infographics, business communications, and social media graphics, which she also develops, in addition to, websites. Furthermore, Monique is a self-published author who published her first book, "Single and Set Apart For a Season: A Book of Prayers, Declarations, and Scriptural Inspiration for Single Christians" in 2017.
Monique is also passionate about pushing people to walk in their God-given purpose. In 2017, Monique founded the Purpose-Driven God Chasers Facebook community which provides prayer, support, and community for Christian creatives, entrepreneurs, and ministers. In 2018, she developed a "Pursuing Purpose" interview series for Team Jesus Magazine that transitioned to "The Purpose-Driven God Chasers Podcast" , which can now be heard on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pandora, Soundcloud, Blubrry, and Anchor, and viewed on her Monique C. Baisden YouTube channel.
A daughter of an ordained Elder in the AME Zion Church and the granddaughter of an AME Pastor, Monique finally answered her calling to ministry in 2016 after running from it for many years. Monique has served in multiple church ministries during her lifetime, in various capacities. She has sung on praise teams, and in choirs, and has even served as a guest praise and worship leader. Additionally, she has served in Executive Leadership, as well as, leadership for Youth Ministry, Communications Ministry, Womens' Ministry, and the Media Ministry teams.
Outside of serving in ministry, her second most important role is that of a daughter and caregiver to her parents. Through serving as a caregiver to her parents over the past 11 years, Monique has become an advocate for the elderly and their family caregivers, and in 2021, she launched a caregivers' ministry/Facebook community for Christian caregivers called Caregivers' Refuge, a safe place and place of refuge for Christian caregivers to be encouraged, come together in fellowship, pray, and share resources.
