About Me

A proud native and resident of Atlanta, GA, Monique C. Baisden is a purpose-driven, visionary, and multifaceted Servant of God, Storyteller, and Change Agent. She possesses over 20 years of diverse work experience from working at corporate and nonprofit organizations, startup companies, schools, colleges, and consulting companies (including her own) within the Education, Human Resources, Staffing, Career Services, Music and Entertainment industries.

 

After matriculating through the Atlanta Public School System, Monique graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, summa cum laude, from Clark Atlanta University in 2002. She later received her Master of Arts degree in Communications and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University in 2010. Monique is also a proud graduate of the ACTONE Hollywood Screenwriting program for Christian screenwriters and Lakeisha Dixon-Jones' Breakthrough Coaching and Leadership Academy, an ICF-accredited coaching program.

THE SERVANT OF GOD 

A daughter of an ordained Elder in the AME  Zion Church and the granddaughter of an AME Pastor, Monique finally answered her calling to ministry in 2016 after running from it for many years. She is an emerging prophetic voice who uses her writing and speaking gifts to inspire, uplift, and encourage others through her written and spoken words of inspiration and encouragement on her blogs, YouTube channel, and social media platforms. Monique has served in multiple church ministries during her lifetime, in various capacities. She has sung on praise teams, and in choirs, and has even served as a guest praise and worship leader. Additionally, she has served in Executive Leadership, as well as, leadership for Youth Ministry, Communications Ministry, Womens' Ministry, and the Media Ministry teams.

THE COACH & CONSULTANT 

Known as "The Purpose Extractor", Monique is passionate about pushing people to walk in their God-given purpose. Since 2012, Monique has consulted and coached multifaceted, Christian creative-entrepreneurs who needed clarity, direction, wisdom, strategies, or solutions for the the launching of new creative and/or entrepreneurial endeavors. In 2017, Monique founded the Purpose-Driven God Chasers Facebook community which provided prayer, support, and community for Christian creatives, entrepreneurs, and ministers during its duration.

Monique has a God-given ability and gift as a prophetic visionary to see solutions where others only see problems. Since 2012, Monique has worked one-on-one with visionaries, small business owners, entrepreneurs, CEOs, pastors and other faith-based leaders, and non-profit leaders and coached them to achieve their organizational goals, and consulted with them and helped them to develop branding and marketing communications strategies, conceptualized departmental and organizational solutions, conducted research for grant proposals, and connected them with the appropriate resources needed to improve, expand, and/or enhance their organizations and ministries.

THE STORYTELLER 

Monique is a professional writer, blogger, songwriter, screenwriter, and author who loves to write and writes to inspire, encourage, and transform lives by telling stories through her music, her podcast, her books...and soon, her television shows and documentaries. She is a published writer who has previously written for FreddyO.com, Type II Nation, Bold Favor Magazine, and served as a Staff Writer and Field Writer for TeamJesusMag.com. Her professional writing skills also extends to writing content for blogs, websites, press releases, infographics, business communications, and social media graphics, which she also develops, in addition to, websites. Furthermore, Monique is a self-published author who published her first book, "Single and Set Apart For a Season: A Book of Prayers, Declarations, and Scriptural Inspiration for Single Christians"  in 2017. In 2018, she developed a "Pursuing Purpose" interview series for Team Jesus Magazine that transitioned to "The Purpose-Driven God Chasers Podcast" , which can now be heard on Apple Podcasts, Spotify,  Pandora, Soundcloud, and Anchor, and viewed on her Monique C. Baisden YouTube channel. In 2020, Monique founded 4 The Kingdom Entertainment (which is now named 4 The Kingdom Enterpriseswhere she primarily serves as Executive Producer, Music Video Director, Writer, and Podcast Host. 4 The Kingdom Enterprises' latest collaborative project is a global social justice and human rights anthem which Monique wrote entitled “Enough Is Enough”. She co-produced the music for this song, as well as, served as the Executive Producer and Co-Director for the advocacy music video

Prior to forming 4 The Kingdom Enterprises, Monique had been an independent songwriter since 2008, and in 2015, she formed The ProWriters, a professional songwriting and music production team. Outside of using her creative talents with 4 The Kingdom Enterprises, Monique is a professional singer who has several years of experience singing professionally with the Atlanta-based, SEEiT Choir, a corporate performance choir that has appeared in television shows, movies, and performed at other notable and highly acclaimed events, including Harry Belafonte's "Many Rivers to Cross" Concert, Jermaine Dupri's "The Rap Game", Tyler Perry's "Madea's Family Funeral" and "A Fall From Grace", FOX Television’s "STAR", and the CBS Pre-Show for Super Bowl LIII.

THE CHANGE AGENT

In 2011, Monique unexpectedly became a caregiver to her father after a traumatic accident, and in 2018, she unexpectedly became a caregiver to her mother after an illness. As a result of collectively serving as a caregiver to both of her parents for 11 years, Monique has developed a burden for advocacy on behalf of her fellow family caregivers. Monique is also a community advocate who has a desire to develop equitable and safe communities. She knows that she is called to be a change agent to her community and the world. She especially has a burden to develop community solutions for the homeless, the impoverished, and the elderly
